Costa Rica day 3

Day 3 was heading to Manuel Antonio National Park to hit the beach. My Mom had researched this park. You have to pay to get in and they only let so many people in a day so we had to leave early. Anyway it's a hike to get to the beach or you can pay a guide to take you around to see the wildlife. We just wanted to get to the beach and in the ocean. But we saw wildlife on the walk in. There were deer on the trail and they let you pet them, and Whitney made friends with one and it followed her all the way to the beach.





We also saw iguana things, Ctenasaur that are related to iguanas. The beach was beautiful and we set up under the cover of the jungle. Carly was afraid of the water at first (she didn't like the waves splashing) but by the end of our trip she loved the water. We sat on the beach and ate snacks but then I heard a rustling behind us and turned around to see a white faced capuchin monkey stealing our mini bananas we had brought. So Chris jumps up and runs after it and it stops and stares at him, grabs one banana off the bundle and drops it (like saying "here you can have this one but I'm taking all these") so Chris goes after it again and it takes 1 banana off and drops the bundle and heads for the trees. Then about 5 more monkeys show up and want bananas so Chris feeds all the bananas to these monkeys. It was so awesome. Carly slept through it all but we all got good pictures and my Mom got some video of them.
